50 and 55 Years of 1959 |

FRIDAY NIGHT: The 55th Reunion began with another great mixer at Jack Sisemore's home. Good friends, good food and good weather!
SATURDAY EVENING: Everyone enjoyed an Italian theme Buffet meal followed by a prayer by Joe Crowley. Then a fun nostalgia quiz courtesy of Billye Wirt Runnels. The next thing on the program was to be a you-tube video that Clifford Johnson found. However, we only got a brief intro. Seems the hotel server was too busy to stream it. Those who stayed a little later did get to see the video and those of us who came Sunday morning were able to see it too. Lots of interesting memories. Thanks Billye and Clifford. Janette Park Whitsett had the school songs projected on the screen. Clifford led the THS song and Jim Burleson led the AHS song.
SUNDAY MORNING: We all enjoyed a nice continental breakfast before Voncille Bennett Fountain gave a devotional. Janette presented a Memorial slide show for the 143 class members no longer with us as Voncille read each name. Karolyn Howe Farmer closed the morning session with a prayer and final goodbyes were exchanged.
